Mandorla Yoga Institute is bringing their 200 Hour Embodiment Yoga Teacher Training in Yin, Restorative and Vinyasa Flow Yoga to Invermere, BC this Spring! The yoga teacher training will take place at Shasta Wellness Studio starting May 4, 2019.
This training is a beautiful blend of yin, restorative and vinyasa yoga with healing hands on assists stemming from Thai Yoga Massage with the intention of supporting you in reclaiming your body-mind connection through establishing a personal yoga practice. This training prepares its graduates to offer inspired yoga classes with a strong foundation in Ayurveda, hands-on assisting, sequencing, modifications, props, meditation, mantra, mudra, asana, and pranayama.
Mandorla Yoga Institute's 200-hour Embodiment yoga teacher training is an offering for women who feel ready to connect with themselves and others more authentically. Involving movement, breath, and meditation with a gentle and body positive approach, our program speaks to the specific needs that women have as caretakers, professionals, and mothers. With sensitivity to the unique physiology of the female body, sequencing is taught in an accessible and empowering way. Time is given to digest and process, dialogue, share and grow. They slowly take you through practices in yin, restorative and vinyasa yoga from the ground up so that you are encouraged to work lovingly with your body. They will teach you how to become a teacher, yes, but more importantly, their intention is to support you in establishing a deeply enriching personal yoga practice. Many women take the training simply for this experience. They believe that yoga is an innate practice, something that we all were born doing naturally. They hope that through their teaching approach you are supported in more deeply connecting with your own innate intelligence to more clearly hear your own inner voice, feel more decisive, inspired and confident.
This Yoga Alliance Accredited Yoga Teacher Training certifies you to become a Registered Yoga Teacher. Offered over 4 beautiful weekends, they take their time sharing the practices and philosophy of yoga with you. They also utilize online learning platforms to help you learn to teach classes that are informed and safe with their functional anatomy and adaptive yoga course.
Daily Schedule: 7 am to 5 pm
7 am to 9 am - Morning Yoga Practice
9 am to 12 am - Morning Session - Lecture, Demonstration, Discussion
12am to 1pm - Lunch
1pm to 3:30pm - Hands-on Applications
3:30 pm to 5 pm - Evening Yoga Practice
